Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Alta is published by Advia d.o.o., Ulica Milke Kerinove 11, 8270 Krško, Slovenia. Contact: info@altaalarm.app. By using the app you accept these terms.
1. Alarms are not guaranteed
We do our best, but an alarm can fail because of battery, system settings, the operating system or a bug. If missing an alarm could cause harm, set a second one. Alta is not a medical or safety device. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for a missed wake-up; this does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or your statutory consumer rights.
2. Exercise at your own risk
Exercises are not tailored to you and camera counting is an estimate. Ask a doctor first if you have a condition, injury or are pregnant, and stop if you feel pain. Inside a mission, Need help? → Switch to easy math replaces the exercise.
3. Camera
Exercise detection runs on your phone. Some photo missions send one photo to be checked by Google Gemini (Settings → Legal → Cloud check turns this off). Don't photograph people without consent.
4. Alta Plus subscription
Alta requires an Alta Plus subscription. Price and period are shown before you confirm. Where offered, the yearly plan has a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; on the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends. Cancel and request refunds in your App Store or Google Play settings; deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel. Restore purchases with "Restore" on the subscription screen. Price changes never apply to a period already paid.
5. Use
You must be at least 16 (13 in the US and UK). Personal, non-commercial use only; don't copy, modify, resell or bypass paid features. You can delete your account in Settings → Your account → Delete account.
6. Changes and law
We announce significant changes in the app before they apply. Slovenian law applies; as a consumer you keep the mandatory protection and courts of your country of residence.
7. App Store
If you got Alta from the App Store, these terms are between you and Advia d.o.o., not Apple. Apple has no obligation to maintain or support the app and is not responsible for claims about it; if the app fails a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price. You confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or on a US restricted-party list. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.
